An Answer to the Question: Stocks and stuff… please explain :?

I was looking through some old posts and found this question. I thought it was a good one so I wanted to post an answer here. The question comes from ‘XxDeepxX’:
Well how do you do the “trading” i see the news and stuff like dow jones doodle nasdaq etc… my mom has a account at a site called bForex (google it), well how do u but stocks and like trade them online? is it like you buy something called stocks keep it in ur account and when the price gos up you sell it? and please give me some good websites too, for ONLINE trading.. and is currency trading and stock market the same?and yeah what are symbols?
Answer: The best place for you to start learning definitions would be here;http://www.investopedia.com/It is a very informative website that can explain almost every question you might have. Your question would require several volumes to properly answer. You need to do some reading, I’m afraid.
