Recession Proof Industries - Three Recession Proof Businesses to Rebound Your Investment Portfolio

And with a large group of retirees living off of their existing investment portfolios are now starting to sweat, finding recession proof businesses quickly is becoming more and more critical. Thankfully, I’ve researched, collected, and compiled three opportunities… Struggling retirees to recent college graduates, ANYONE can take advantage now so they can create a safe and secure future for themselves and their families.
Recession Proof Industry #1: Internet Marketing
Let’s face it: if you’ve recently found yourself out of a job (especially if you’re over 40), you can almost guarantee that you will need to learn new skills to become valuable again in the workplace. This recession proof industry will give you the opportunity to not only find a better job, but also make tons of money in your spare time as well.
Simply put, if you know how to surf the internet and use email… you’ve probably got enough skills to take the dive and learn some basic internet marketing skills.
How to profit from this: become an affiliate. An affiliate marketer is just someone who connects the buyer with the product creator. You don’t have to do customer service, account management, payroll, or even research and development… because you’re not creating the product!
Recession Proof Industry #2: Direct Sales
There are many advantages for you in today’s economy with direct selling:
- You get to control your time input. If you want to do this full time, you can. If you just want to work part time around school or a full time job, you can!
- You have more control over how much you make. If you want to make more money, put in more time or leverage your efforts (see #3)
- **IMPORTANT** You have the ability to leverage other people’s time without the risk and expense of hiring employees.
Time leverage is very important to securing a stable residual income. Here’s an example: Train yourself in this industry to make $5000 per month. Train 5 other people to do the same thing, and you’ll get a small piece of their business. Now you have the ability to make the same $5000 per month without having to put in the time to do it because you’re leveraging your successful team of people.
Recession Proof Industry #3: Forex Market
Stock trading is for people that want to pay for their broker’s retirement, not their own. Even before the current recession, over 90% of the people I know with investments either lost money or their investments did not grow at the same rate as the cost of living (ie. there’s a lot dollars, but they don’t have alot of value compared to what they did 30 years ago).
One market many people are turning to is the forex market. This is short for the foreign currency exchange market. Before it was very easy to lose money here (as with any business opportunity) if you didn’t know what you were doing. The good news is, there’s a solution.
